Dr. Rizwan Sheikh is a Melbourne-based specialist plastic and reconstructive surgeon with expertise in cosmetic surgery, reconstructive microsurgery, and hand surgery.
Dr Sheikh is double board certified in Plastic and Reconstructive and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and Fellow of the College of Plastic Surgeons of South Africa. With this strong training background, he is dedicated to delivering safe, precise, and patient-centred outcomes, underpinned by evidence-based practice and surgical innovation
His interest spans body contouring surgery, breast and facial aesthetics in addition to microsurgical reconstruction.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Sheikh is committed to advancing surgical education, mentoring future surgeons, and pursuing continuous professional development. He has presented at conferences internationally and is published in peer reviewed journals.
Outside of surgery, Dr. Sheikh is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and pushing the boundaries of surgical performance. When he’s not in the operating theatre, he’s outdoors recharging with his four-legged boss, Al Poochino.
